Privacy policy

The responsible body within the meaning of the data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), is:
Markus Enck, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Q.C.M. holding AG

Purposes of data processing by the controller and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those stated. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if: you have given your express consent to do so, the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, the processing is necessary for the protection of legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data.

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected by means of a cookie. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is compulsory when using the Internet. In particular, it is processed for the following purposes: Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website, ensuring a smooth use of our website, evaluating system security and stability as well as for other administrative purposes. The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest from the aforementioned data collection purposes. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Recipients of the data are only the responsible body and, if applicable, order processors. Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (SSL) via HTTPS.

Contact form

If you contact us by e-mail or contact form regarding questions of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you. In order to do so, you must provide a valid e-mail address. This is used for the assignment of the enquiry and the subsequent response to it. The provision of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Personal data will be automatically deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with.

Use of Google Maps

We use Google Maps on our website. Google collects and processes the IP address of the visitor. When you visit a website on which Google Maps is integrated, your IP address and your location data (the latter usually not without your consent) are transmitted to Google, regardless of whether Google Maps is actually used or you are logged into your Google account. Your IP address will be assigned to your Google account if you are logged in there when you visit our website. You can prevent the collection of data relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

Use of Typekit web fonts from Adobe Fonts

We use Typekit web fonts from Adobe Fonts for the visual design of our website. Adobe Fonts is a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Companies (4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland; hereinafter «Adobe»), which gives us access to a font library.

To integrate the fonts we use, your browser must establish a connection to an Adobe server in the USA and download the font required for our website. This provides Adobe with the information that our website was accessed from your IP address.

You can find more information about Adobe Fonts in the Adobe Fonts privacy policy, which you can access here: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html

Use of Font Awesome

Our website uses so-called web fonts or icons provided by Fonticons, Inc. for the uniform display of fonts or icons. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts or icons into your browser cache in order to display texts, fonts and icons correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must establish a connection to the servers of Fonticons, Inc. This enables Fonticons, Inc. to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Font Awesome is used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. If your browser does not support Font Awesome, a standard font will be used by your computer. Further information on Font Awesome can be found at https://fontawesome.com/help and in the privacy policy of Fonticons, Inc.: https://fontawesome.com/privacy

Embedded Vimeo videos

We use Vimeo components on this website to embed videos on our internet pages so that they can be played via your internet browser when you visit our internet pages. This process requires that Vimeo processes the IP address assigned to you, as without this the content could not be sent to the browser. Vimeo recognises when you visit one of our pages on which we have embedded a Vimeo video, provided you are logged in to Vimeo. This information is transmitted to Vimeo even if you do not click on the Vimeo video. Vimeo collects this information and associates it with your Vimeo account. For more information on data protection at «Vimeo», please see the provider's data protection declaration at: https://vimeo.com/privacy

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection statement will then apply to your next visit.
